Patricia A. Major Scott, 90, of Frankfort, IN, died on October 5, 2022 at Mulberry Health. She was born om March 28, 1932 in Frankfort, IN to Ralph and Mary Etta (Meneely) Stinson. Patricia married Harry E. Major on April 11, 1951 in Frankfort, IN and he preceded her in death on January 10, 1987. She then married Harold Scott Jr on March 25, 1995 in Frankfort, IN and he preceded her in death on April 7, 2004.
Patricia was a 1950 graduate of Frankfort High School. She had worked for Jules Simon, Mack Machine, Clinton County Sheriff Department, Camera Shop and worked in the Clinton County Treasurer Office for 11 years, retiring on November 31, 1998. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Republican Women, Foresters and the German-American Club. Patricia was known for her kindness, genuineness and her unconditional love.
She is survived by five children; three stepchildren; 13 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter. Patricia was preceded in death by her parents; both husbands; stepdaughter, Karla Emery; and sister, Barbara Howe.
Visitation will be from 12-2 PM on Sunday, October 9, 2022 at Goodwin Funeral Home, 200 S. Main St., Frankfort, IN. Funeral services will begin at 2 PM at the funeral home. Burial will be in Bunnell Cemetery.
