    Mrs. Patricia Ann Sheppard Crumrine, 94, of Southern Pines, NC died Friday, February 16th at her home in Penick Village.

    Mrs. Crumrine, born in Alton, IL; was the daughter of the late Charles and Opal Trost Sheppard and the widow of Dr. Joseph Lyle Crumrine.

    She was proud to be part of the first graduating class of the University of Illinois occupational therapy program. She had worked as an Occupational Therapist in her early years. She enjoyed knitting, weaving, travel and reading. She and her husband had lived in Tryon, NC. for a few retirement years before his death. She later moved to Southern Pines to be closer to her family.
