Patricia was born July 19, 1925 in Van Wert, Ohio to Paul B. and Eva Viola (Pflueger) Miller. She was retired from Community Hospital, where she was employed as a Licensed Practical Nurse. Mrs. Tullis was a member of Catawba United Methodist Church and attended the Springfield Church of Christ. As a member of the Republican Party, she served as a Central Committeewoman in Pleasant Township for the Clark County Board of Electors. Patricia was a member of the Caroline Chapter of Eastern Star (O.E.S.) and served as Past Worthy Matron and Past District Eighteen President. Additionally, she was a member and held many offices in the Twentieth Century Literary Club. An ardent supporter of 4H, she served as advisor for many years in Clark County. She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Nathan C. Tullis in 1997 and her parents. Her survivors include five daughters and sons-in-law, Karen I. Tullis of Wapakoneta, Brenda S. (David) Stickney of South Vienna, Nancy C. (Thomas) Thickel and Melanie J. Tullis of Dayton, and Cynthia A. (Gary) Vermillion of Springfield; eight grandchildren, John and Alison Stickney, Van Stickney, Lauren, Caroline and Alexandra Thickel, Heather and Shelby Vermillion; sisters and brother, Dorothy (Lowell) Neer, Grover G. (Betty) Miller, Jennie M. Patton, Judith M. (Raymond) DesJardins; and several nieces and nephews. The family of Mrs. Tullis would like to acknowledge the love and devotion of her sisters, and support of her many friends during her illness, Hospice of Community Hospital and Dawn Massie, RN. The family is being served by Littleton and Rue Funeral Home, 830 N. Limestone St., Springfield, Ohio. Visitation will be Friday, July 6 from 5-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 7 at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home with Mike Surgenor, minister of Springfield Church of Christ officiating. Burial will be in Asbury Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Community Hospital or Springfield Church of Christ Building Fund, 1620 Buck Creek Lane, Springfield, Ohio 45502.
