Dear wife and true love of Walter Hamp has taken the low road to Scotland to be with her beloved husband once again on the bonnie banks o' Loch Lomond where they honeymooned after their wedding at Edinburgh in August, 1944 Never meeting again was an option only for other people in an old song. . Walter, as an American soldier, and a guy named Ike had the European theatre under control so it seemed a good time for a wedding. Pat's life was full of love, humour and adventure as she lived in Scotland, Australia and America. She was a stalwart defender of her son Douglas, daughter-in-law Gail, grandson Iain and his wife Ginger, a friend to all people regardless of their background, and an unwavering advocate for justice in an often unjust world. She will be sorely missed by all who knew her. She leaves behind her only son, her daughter in law, her grandson and his wife.jsvm@. God bless her. May all live as good a life.
