  2. Bond, cited above, on p. 437 says Elisha Smith "m. (2d), about 1730, ABIGAIL ----", implying Patience died by then. This is incorrect. There are three deeds (Vol. 45, p. 521, Vol. 52, p. 205 and 206) where Elisha Smith of Waltham sells land and which are signed by his wife Patience. Elisha did remarry in 1741 and named his widow Sarah in his will.
