Parry Sheets, 89, dies; rites here Saturday
Parry Alice Laughner Sheets, 89, of Michigantown, died at 5 p.m. in the Brock Nursing Home after being in failing health the past several months.
She was a native of Clinton County where she was born Dec.2, 1874 to William and Sarah (Louck) Earlywine. She was a resident of Michigan Township all her life.
Her first husband was Andrew Laughner, who peceded her in death, and her second husband was the late James Sheets.
Survivors include three nieces, Mrs. Claude Sheets of Frankfort, Mrs. Orval Hagerty of Lafayette, and Mrs. Mae Oyler of Burlington; and two nephews, Paul Wyant of Michigantown and Ora Hamilton of Frankfort. One son and three sisters perceded her in death.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday in the Goodwin Funeral Home with Rev. John Rierson officiating. Burial will be in Brandon Cemetery north of Avery.
It was announced that friends may call after 4 o'clock this afternoon at the funeral home.
