1870 Census: Wayland, MI, age 24, Canada, farmer.

1880 Census: Hopkins, MI, age 35, farmer, Canada now married to Eveline Gaylor as of 26 April, 1877.

Parker was a beneficiary in his father's Will of 1885.

1900 Census: Hopkins, Allegan, MI, page 2B, line 93, July 1844, age 55, married 23 yr, CAN, CAN, CAN, immig 1863, farmer. Farms next door to 1st cousin Miles R. Ring.

There is a good bio of Parker beginning page 901 in the book on Kalamazoo, Allegan and Van Buren Counties. It names his parents and the fact that he was born in Canada July 27, 1844. He moved to Michigan in 1863, served in the Civil War in the 1st Michigan Engineers and Mechanics, was injured, discharged in 1865 and returned to Canada to recover his health. Eventually he returned to Allegan County, purchased a farm and in April 1877 married Eveline. The bio also names five children and the fact that they had another yet unnamed.
