1850 census; Annotated, compiled by John P. Alderman He was probably the son of Joel and Milly (Brizendine) Ashworth, born in Franklin Co. The family moved here in the 1820s, after he married Jane Hall in Franklin in 1822. She was the daughter of Thomas and Ann Hall and her people moved here about the same time as the Ashworths. Park worked later as a painter and a cooper and did not prosper. He does not appear in the 1880 census, but whether he died or moved, I cannot say.
