Obituary: “Pansy Chandler Taylors

Pansy Albea Chandler, 73, of Dove Lane, died Sunday, May 7, 2006, at St. Francis Hospital, Downtown. Born in Greenwood, she was the daughter of the late Charles Vernon and Auline Witt Albea. Ms. Chandler was retired from Meyers Arnold and was of the Presbyterian faith. Surviving are two sons, Bobby Eugene Turner Jr. of Carrabelle, Fla., and Jim Chandler and his wife, Charlotte, of Greenville; two sisters, Frances A. Clary of Greenville and June A. Wingard of Decatur, Ga.; and two grandchildren, Caroline and Will Chandler. She was preceded in death by a brother, Roy Albea. Memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 10, 2006, at 1:30 p.m. in the chapel of Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Downtown. Visitation will be held prior to the services from 12 to 1:15 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park. The family will be at the home of a son, Jim Chandler, ****.
