Raised in Pittsburgh, PA Graduate of Amherst College, class of 1922 On 12/2/1922 he joined the Springfield Fire and Marine Insurance Co. as a fire underwriter In 1924 he transferred to statistical department; later special research assistant to the president of the company. Member, Covered Wagon Club (of the S.F. & M.I. Co.) Member, 1250 Club of Monarch Life Insurance Co.

Cannot find him in 1910 or 1920. [Check Pittsburgh; perhaps they're enumerated with one of the Palmers...]
