Owen Thomas was born in 1730, in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, British Colonial America as the son of Lewis Thomas and Jane Smith. He married Mary Hardin about 1751. They were the parents of at least 6 sons and 2 daughters. He lived in Frederick, Virginia, British Colonial America in 1752. He died in April 1808, in Washington, Kentucky, United States, at the age of 78.
