Otto of Nordheim (c. 1020 – 11 January 1083) was Duke of Bavaria from 1061 until 1070. He was one of the leaders of the Saxon Rebellion in 1073-75 and the Great Saxon Revolt of 1077-88 against King Henry IV of Germany.

    Otto von Northeim (* um 1020 ; † 11. Januar 1083) aus der Familie der Grafen von Northeim war von 1061 bis 1070 als Otto II. Herzog von Bayern. Er war der Anführer der aufständischen Sachsen im Sachsenkrieg gegen Heinrich IV.
    Otto wurde um 1020 als einziger Sohn des sächsischen Grafen Bernhard von Northeim und der Gräfin Eilika geboren. Er folgte als Otto I. um 1049 seinem Vater als Graf von Northeim und gehörte damit neben den Billungern und den Grafen von Stade (Udonen) zu den einflussreichsten Persönlichkeiten im östlichen Sachsen.
