Otis Barton married, first, Laura M. Baughman on 9 January 1868 in Adams county, Illinois.
They had a child: Laura Caroline, who later married (1891) and was divorced from (1907) Harry C. Woodruff. They had one child, a daughter. Laura became a devotee of Christian Science. She died overseas.
Otis Barton married, second, Laura T. Dwight on 23 May 1871 in Adams county Illinois.
