OSCAR E. JOHNSON The Republic, June 18, 1981 

   Oscar E. Johnson, 71, of Garrett RD 1, died June 13, 1981, in Meyersdale. He was born June 29, 1909, in Summit Township, son of the late Martin and Edith (Sanner) Johnson.  He is survived by his widow, Lillian (Nicholson) Johnson; and five brothers and one sister:  James R., Charles, Robert, Paul, Clyde and Miss Mary, all of Garrett RD 1.  He was preceded in death by three brothers, Elmer, Millard and Roy.  He was a member of Center Lutheran Church.  Friends were received at the M. Ray Leckemby Funeral Home, Meyersdale, where services were conducted with the Rev. Lloyd Wilson and the Rev. Lloyd Sechriest officiating.  Interment, St. Paul's Cemetery.
