    ORVILLE PRITCHARD - 81

    Funeral services for Orville J. Pritchard, 81, Callender, were held Wednesday, July 13 at Bruce Memorial Chapel in Fort Dodge, Evangelist Mike Halstead. Yankton, S.D. a grandson, conducted the 10:30 a.m. service. Interment was held in Memorial Park Cemetery.
    Mr. Pritchard passed away Monday morning, July 11, at Fort Dodge Willa Care Center where he had resided for the past two months.
    Bearers were Tony Goodpasture, Larry Pritchard, Jeff Pritchard, Chris Marsh, Steve Pritchard and Scott Brennan.
    Orville James Pritchard was born at Rockwell City on January, 23, 1902. He was the son of Samuel and Maybelle (RAY) Pritchard. He attended the rural area schools. He married Flossie Butrick in 1924 at Auburn. The couple farmed near Rockwell City for a few years before moving to Fort Dodge about 40 years ago.
    Orville was employed at the Rosedale Creamery and later for 12 years worked at Fort Dodge Laroratories retiring at the age of 65. Mr. and Mrs. Pritchard moved to Callender 12 years ago. He was a member of West Side Church of Christ.
    Survivors include his wife, Flossie; sons and daughters, Gerald Pritchard, Stratford; LeRoy Pritchard, Covina, Cal.; David Pritchard, Fort Dodge; Mrs Dick (Mardella) Hunter, Stockton, Calif.; Mrs Wayne (Wanda) Moeller, Omaha, Nebr.; Carmon Pritchard, LaVerne, Calif.; Marion Pritchard, Jewell; Mrs. Tom (Joan) Brown, Anaheim, Calif.; Mrs. Rod (Karen) Clark, Fort Dodge; and Tom Pritchard, Callender; 60 grandchildren; 60 great-grandchildren; brothers Marvin Pritchard, Manson; Lester Pritchard, Rockwell City; and Glenn Pritchard, Mount Ayr and a sister, Mrs. Mary Kaiser, Pulaski.
