    Leroy "Pete" Davis, 84, of 7021 Singletree Rd. SE, Scio died September 13 in Timken Mercy Medical Center at Canton after an extended illness. Born May 8, 1911, at Mercer County, Pennsylvania, he was a son of the late John and Jane (Houk) Davis. He owned and operated the Kilgore Garage from 1955 until 1970. He was a retired farmer and a member of Carrollton Trinity Lutheran Church.
    He is survived by his wife, the former Nellie B. Reigle, whom he married October 17, 1932, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Ted, Thomas and James, and four sisters, Martha, Ione, Pearl and Glendora. Funeral services were held September 16 in Sweeney-Dodds Funeral Home at Carrollton with Pastor Paul Camp officiating. Burial was in Kilgore Cemetery.
