His decline was hardly perciptible until May 10th, when he had a violent hemorrhage.Patient, as was his nature, he continued until he died, when he went to sleep without a struggle. His funeral was held in the Methodist church at New Auburn, sermon by Rev. Chandler, Congregational minister of Glenco. Although there was a heavy rain in the morning, the church was well filled by sympathizing friends. He leaves a widow and a little four years old; also many relatives and friends sadly bereaved.
