BIOGRAPHY: Notes for ORRAY J. KNIGHT: From Clara Lowenburg Moses' "My Memories" on Henret's husband: " Jack was in business with Orray Knight in some sort of electrical appliances and Orray was engaged to Henret Roos. He had studied in Erle's class at the Armour Institute and boarded with Aunt Theresa when he and Henret fell in love and became engaged. The Knights had never known any Jews and didn't like the idea of Orray's marrying Henret until she came to Boston to see him and stayed with Mama and they found out what an angel she was, and a person of such fine character. They liked mama too, when we called. They were very reserved New England people. When Orray got a chance to get into the Chicago Gas Company he went, and they were married and lived at Aunt Theresa's, tho he was still a member of Jack's firm in Boston." (p. 74)
