Facts and Events
This info comes from Rev. Harold Boomhour. David Ellis in his book "The Schoolcraft Families of Schoharie, NY and Missisquoi County, QC" self-published, Londonderry, NH 2007 states that "His (Rev. Harold Boomhour) oversight was that he attributed Orra, who married and lived in Stanbridge, Quebec to Lawrence Schoolcraft and Arianne Reinhard who had not left the Mohawk Valley in New York State. It did not seem reasonable that a young single female would travel 300 miles, alone, to marry someone she had never met."
