Mrs. Jesse Cable Dies After Illness; Funeral Is Monday
Mrs. Ollie Cable, 56, widow of Jesse W. Cable, died Thursday afternoon at her home, 1109 S. 21st, following an extended illness. Mrs. Cable was a member of the First Baptist Church. Surviving are two daughters: Miss Charlene Cable and Miss Christine Cable, both at home; a step-daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Allen of Kokomo; a step-son, Marion Cable of Spiceland; five sisters: Mrs. Frank C. Goble, Mrs. Thomas Surber, Mrs. William Wickliff, Mrs. Oma DeHart, all of New Castle and Mrs. J. L. Padgett of Randall, WA; and four brothers: Ward Bunch of Waynesburg, KY, Ashford & Leamon J. Bunch, both of New Castle and Hermie Bunch of Connersville. The body will be removed from the Fox and Macer Funeral Home to the residence where friends may call after noon Saturday. Services will be conducted Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock in the First Baptist Church with Rev. George W. Hurt officiating. Burial will be in South Mound Cemetery.
*Ollie was the daughter of Letcher and Mary Frances Kidd Bunch. She married Jess W. Cable on Mar. 10, 1928 in Henry Co., IN.
