KENDALL, Oliver, s. of Joseph and Mercy, [born] Aug. 10, 1734.
Cutter, in his article on the Kendall family, NEHGR, vol. 39, p. 22, has no further information on Oliver after his birth. Oliver is mentioned being in his 12th year in 1746 when a guardian is assigned. In 1757, his mother, who had been his guardian, gave a receipt for the three remaining minors, but not Oliver, who would no longer have been a minor and would have given his own receipt at that point. He is the only heir for whom a receipt is not found, however, which combined with the lack of further information (such as marriage), suggests he might have died by then?
