   He was a self-employed electrician in Palmerton and an electrician at the former New Jersey Zinc Co., Palmerton, for 48 years before retiring from both positions in 1958.
   
   Born in Lehigh Furnace, he was a son of the late Lewis and Sarah (Lauchnor) Blose.
   
   He was a member of St. John's Towamensing Lutheran Church, Palmerton.
   
   Survivors: Son, Arthur R. of Harrisburg; daughter, Mrs. Jean R. Keck of Palmerton; sister, Elsie Harner of Slatington, and two grandchildren.
