From the 1898 Genealogy of some of the descendants of Obadiah Wheeler of Concord^[2]:* 8th child of Obadiah and the first of 2 by a second wife

• born Concord 1650 or 1651.
• m. Elizabeth White, dau of Resolved, the brother of Peregrine the first child of the Pilgrims born in this land.
• dwelt on his father's farm in the southwesterly part of Concord until 1715, when he disposed of his lands and no trace of him after that has been found.
• Had eight boys and one girl, all of whom were married and settled in adjoining towns, most of them in Lancaster.
• Numerous descendants are still found in Berlin and Bolton.

   Probably the two youngest children of Obadiah Wheeler [this Obadiah and Josiah] were by a second wife, though there was no record of a second marriage. The son Obadiah m. 17 Jul 1672 Elizabeth White. He and wife living in 28 Mar 1712 when convey half their estate to son Obadiah.

5. ↑ Estimated birth of before 1651 is based on assumption he was of legal age when he married in 1672. Both Wheeler^S1 and Tolman^S3 place Obadiah in a second marriage, so born no earlier than 1650.
