Norman B Young Feb. 17, 1920 -- June 13, 2004
------ Norman B Young, 84, of Buchman Rd died Sunday at Bethesda Care Center. He was born in Fremont to Homer T and Bertha (Knox) Young and graduated fr om Ross High School in 1938. Mr. Young was employed as a pattern maker at the Howard Zink Corp. for mo re than 47 years. He also worked at the Twala Owens-IL Plant in Washingt on where they worked on the Alaskan Pipeline from 1975 until 1976. Aft er he retired, he worked at McDonald's Restaurant on Catawba Island. He was a member of Grace Lutheran Church where he served on the church cou ncil and as an usher. Surviving are his wife, Marjorie P (Noftz); son Chris Young of Fremont; da ughter Sue (Jerry) Slatter of Columbia Falls, Mont.; brother Harold (Luell a) Young of Fremont; and five grandchildren and six great-grandchildre n. He is preceded by his parents and sisters Wava Schau and Shirley Scot t. Visitation: 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Wonderly-Horvath Funer al Home. Services: 10:30 a.m. Friday at Grace Lutheran Church with Associate Past or Robert Hartman officiating. Additional visitation will begin one hour b efore the services.
