Norman D. Flora, 87, of Sebring, Fla., a former Flora resident, died Thursday, March 22, 1979, at Sebring. Born Dec. 19,1891, in Carroll County, he was the son of John F. and Melissa Allbaugh Flora. He was married in 1912 to Clara E. Arnold, who survives. A retired farmer, he was a member of the Sebring Church of the Brethren. Surviving with the wife are three sons, Herman Flora of Rt. 1, Cutler, Arnold and Earl Flora, both of Kokomo; two sisters, Carrie Bowerman of Peru and Orpha Brower of Flora; 11 grandchildren, and 18 great-grandchildren. Services were Monday at the Flora Church of the Brethren with Rev. Vernon Powell officiating. Burial was in Maple Lawn Cemetery. Reinke Funeral Home, Flora, was in charge of arrangements.
