Norman Ross Crumrine passed away on November 22, 2018. Ross was born in Rochester, Pa. in 1934, to the late Norman and Elizabeth (Seiple) Crumrine. Ross obtained a Bachelor’s degree from Northwestern University and completed his Master’s and PhD degrees at the University of Arizona. Lovingly remembered by his wife of 47 years, Louise; children, Julie and Monica (Brad); grandchildren, Ross, Logan, Payton and Brady; a brother, Richard S. Crumrine and a sister, Gretchen (Thomas) Schwertz. Ross is predeceased by one son, Norman Crumrine. Ross moved to Victoria in 1968, and spent many years teaching Anthropology at the University of Victoria.
