    N. Edward “Ed” Crumrin, 87, of rural Veedersburg, passed away 7:35 AM Friday March 25, 2022 at Franciscan Health in Crawfordsville, Indiana

    Ed was born at Burman City Hospital inUrbana, IL to Chester Franklin and Ada (Creekmur) Crumrin. He moved to Indiana in 1946 and graduated from Covington High School in 1951. He served 2 years in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict and was stationed at Ansbach, Germany. He then continued to serve in the Ready Reserves and was honorably discharged December 31, 1962

    Ed accepted Christ March 1959 and was baptized in the north fork of Coal Creek later in the spring with Charles E Howard officiating. Ed married Patricia Trott on Oct 23, 1955 in Fountain Christian Church. They were married 67 years. Most of their married life was spent on their farm south of Veedersburg.

    Ed was a heavy equipment operator for 37 years. He enjoyed playing cards and traveling with friends and family. He also enjoyed horseback riding.

    Born to Ed and Pat were Deborah (Rod) Noggle and Pete (Phyllis) Crumrin.

    He is also survived by 2 grandsons Jeremiah (Megan) Noggle and Adam (Brittany) Noggle, and 6 great grandchildren Aurora, James, Lotta Belle and John Noggle; Ella and Lane Noggle, with #7 expected in September.

    His brother, Reno Crumrin, preceded him in death on March 28th, 2021
