    Norma J. Meckley, 90, of Glenville, PA, entered God's eternal care, Monday, April 29, 2024, at home with her loving family by her side.

    Born November 16, 1933, in Elizabethtown, PA, she was the daughter of the late Norman Grimm and Minerva (Ortman) Grim Reaver. Norma was the loving wife of the late Glenn L. Meckley with whom she shared sixty-two years of marriage until his passing on September 12, 2015.

    Norma worked at the Hanover Shoe Factory and the Middleburg Sewing Factory until her retirement.

    Norma was a member of Calvary Bible Church, Hanover, PA, and a life member of the Turkey Federation.

    Norma enjoyed shopping, and family gatherings.

    Norma is survived by her children Brent L. Meckley and his companion Leslie of Glenville, PA, and Allen L. Meckley and wife Rhonda of Hanover, PA; three grandchildren, Jacob Meckley, Luke Meckley, and Jeremiah Meckley; and three great-grandchildren, Brenna Meckley, Alanna Meckley, and Rissa Meckley. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Earl D. Grimm and Phillip L. Grimm; and a sister, Alberta A. (Grimm) Lawyer.

    A funeral service to celebrate and remember Norma will be held 11AM, Thursday, May 2, 2024, at the Kenworthy Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 269 Frederick Street, Hanover, PA, with the Rev. Chester Joines officiating. Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Hanover, PA.
