Norma J. "Dolly" Null, age 83, of Keymar, Maryland, died peacefully on Thursday, March 22, 2012 at Lorien Nursing & Rehab Center in Taneytown. Born January 15, 1929 near Taneytown, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Norman O. Eckard and Freda G. (Selders) Bridenstein. She was predeceased by her husband, Earl W. Null. She was retired after 20 years as a supervisor of custodians at Westminster High School for the Carroll County Public School System. Dolly enjoyed BINGO, reading books, gardening flowers and vegetables. Surviving is a daughter, Linda C. Null of Keymar; grandson, Brent A. Ziegler of Westminster; son-in-law, Cliff Ziegler of Westminster; sister, Betty Flickinger of Westminster; Clarence Eckard of Taylorsville; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by daughter, JoAnne Ziegler and by siblings, Mary Shamer, Carole Lescalleet, Roberta Stonesifer, Alice Gill, Charles, Leon, William, and Ralph Eckard. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 28, 2012 at Haugh's Lutheran Church in Ladiesburg with the Rev. Michelle Carlson officiating. Interment will follow in Resthaven Memorial Gardens in Hanover, PA. The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday at the Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home, 136 E. Baltimore St., Taneytown and on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until the time of service at the church.
