Nora Dexter (Scearce) Dalton, 90, died at Heartland of Oakridge on Saturday, July 7, 2001. She was preceded in death by her husband, James L. Dalton in 1987. She was the youngest of five children of John W. and Matilda (Laughner) Scearce of Thornhill, Tenn. Nora leaves behind three children, Edith (Dalton) McKenzie (Gene) of Springboro, Clarence R. Dalton (Ann) of Franklin and Earl D. Dalton of Franklin; three grandchildren, James T. of Columbus, Michael R. of Middletown and M. Jeffrey Dalton of Xenia; two step-grandchildren, Jan A. McKenzie of England and Darla (McKenzie) Pauley (Robert) of Kentucky; and eight great-grandchildren, Kenneth Pauley, Rachel and Ian McKenzie, Megan and Josh Dalton (Earl), Mara, Ava and Conner Dalton (Clarence). She also leaves nieces, nephews and many friends and church family members. Nora was a member of the Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Franklin.ARRANGEMENTS: Visitation is scheduled from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and the funeral at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Eaton-Anderson & Unglesby Funeral Home, 1357 E. Second St., Franklin, with the Rev. Garrett Dalton officiating. Entombment will be in the Miami Valley Memory Gardens Mausoleum.MEMORIALS: In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Mt.
