Nora and Bill were farmers. They started out on the Pulver homestead at Kasota, MN and then rented several farms over the years near Kasota and Mankato, MN. As a young boy I would visit my aunt and uncle on their farm for a week or more. Without any children of their own, Nora and Bill showered their love on their nephews and nieces. They had to work very hard for very few material rewards, but had the joy of a wonderful love for each other. Nora was a large woman, trained as a teacher, and had a lovely singing voice. Bill, on the other hand, was thin and wiry. He died from Parkinson's disease. They are buried in a Catholic (Bill) cemetery at St. Marys (between Mankato and Kasota)
