Services for Nora Mae Bixler, 75, a resident of Eaton, will be Thursday at 1 p.m. in Eaton United Methodist Church. The Rev. Robert Ellison will officiate and burial will be in Gardens of Memory. Calling hours at Pitman-Richman Funeral Home will be from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and an hour prior to the service at the church Thursday.
Mrs. Bixler died Monday at Ball Hospital following a brief illness. She was a native of Warrick County and was an active member of the Eaton United Methodist Church. She was a member of Eastern Star, Eaton Chapter 522 and resided in Indianapolis for a number of years prior to moving Delaware County in 1946 and to Eaton in 1951.
Survivors include her husband, Perry L. Bixler; two daughters, Mrs. Randy (Nancy) Cunningham of Muncie and Mrs. Fred (Janna) Hollowell of Eaton; a sister, Mrs. Ina Cato of Spurgeon; two brothers, Glenn Dougan of Spurgeon, and Lewis Dougan of Mowequa, Ill.; and five grandchildren.
