  9. He was listed as Noel M., nephew, age 15, attending school, also employed as Checker (orders) at Dept Store, in home of Joseph M. Galloway at 133 Currier St.
  10. He was listed as age 15, in the home of his parents. He also was listed in the home of his aunt and uncle, Joe and Della Hood Galloway in Atlanta, as nephew, age 15. He was living with them after his parents moved back to Fannin County during the depression. Noel went to high school at night and worked in the order department of Sears, Roebuck & Co.
  11. He and Willie lived in Powder Springs for a while after they were married.
  12. He resigned from Hampton's when none of the Hampton family visited when his mother-in-law, Missouri Turner, died.
  13. Noel and Homer Turner were ordained as deacons at the same time. The ministers were Rev. Carl Dean, Rev. Emanuel J. Henry and Rev, A. H. (Gus) Hunt. The church deacons were E.M. Galloway, Jake Parker and Herman Davenport.
  14. He was partners with John Bagwell, who had a hardware store in Blue Ridge.
  15. He incorporated the business in 1954 and sold it to Davenports about 1965
