A lifetime Wabash County resident N. Frank Crumrine, 82, LaFontaine, died Tuesday at 11:22 p.m. at the Wabash County Hospital. He had been ill several days.
He was born Dec. 12, 1891 to Alonzo and Lucinda Garber, Crumrine. He married the former Bertha Pulley, who died in 1957. He later married the former Lora Shideler, who survives.
Also surviving are children Mrs. Richard (Mary) Goodpasture and Russell Crumrine, LaFontaine, and Harold Crumrine, Denver, Colo.; three grandchildren; and stepchildren Ralph Shideler, Homer Shideler, Mrs. Joe (Opal) Barker, Mrs. Orville (Betty-Jean) Kay and Mrs. Howard (Pauline) Holland of Marion and Mrs. Wellman (Maxine) Cain, LaFontaine.
A brother, Wilford, 1274 Falls Ave., and two sisters, Mrs. Clarence (Lola) Pulley, R.R. 1, and Mrs. Carl (Marie) Summers, R.R. 3, also survive.
Mr. Crumrine was the former owner of Crumrine Brothers Garage in LaFontaine and he was a member of the LaFontaine Christian Church.
Services will be Friday at 2 p.m. at Hunter Funeral Home, LaFontaine, with the Rev. Jack St. John officiating. Burial will -be at the Mississinewa Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Thursday.
