Greensboro News & Record (NC) - June 27, 1995 Deceased Name: NINA ISLEY LIBERTY - Mrs. Nina Andrews Isley, 71, of 300 E. Swannanoa Ave. died Monday, June 26, 1995 at UNC Hospital in Chapel Hill.

Funeral will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Pleasant Hill Christian Church, with burial in the church cemetery.

A native of Chatham County, Mrs. Isley was a World War II Navy veteran and a retired employee of Kellwood Company. She was a member of Pleasant Hill Christian Church. She was preceded in death by a brother, Leroy Andrews.

Surviving are her husband, Spurgeon Isley Sr.; daughter, Brenda I. Shelton of Cary; son, Spurgeon "Sonny" Isley Jr. of Liberty; sisters, Eulalia Kellam of Siler City, Thelma Hoyle of Burlington, Wilma Wheeler of McLeansville; brothers, Garland Andrews and Arnold Andrews of Greensboro; grandchildren, Amy Shelton, Andy Shelton of Cary; Shane Isley of Liberty and Jessica I. Brown of San Diego, Calif.

The family will receive friends 7-9 p.m. tonight at Loflin Funeral Home.
