    Also: On p. 1948 (Isle Royale, inc. Louisbourg), says he married 1st Madeleine SIMON on 16 Jan 1713; six children, one born at Port Royal, two at Petit-Degrat, three at Louisbourg. He married 2nd on 19 Mar 1756 [when he was 65 years old and she was 20?] at Louisbourg to Osite BENOIST, daughter of Jean & Marie-Josephe TE'RIOT of Cobequid; daughter born at Louisbourg in 1758.
