Born August 27, 1702 in Providence, Providence Co, Rhode Island, and died Aft. 1741. He married Sarah Straight c 1729. She was born c 1712, and died c 1750 in Kingston, Washington Co, Rhode Island.
He was admitted freeman of Providence, RI, 1730. In 1728, after the death of his father and the re-marriage of his mother, he was appointed by the town council, the custodian of all of his father's estate, excepting what had been allotted to his widow, until his brothers and sister should become of age, giving bond as custodian, with his uncle "Benimen" (Benjamin), as surety. Like his father, he was also a surveyor. In 1741, he sold his farm at Meshantituc, and then probably removed to the compact part of the town of Providence. (Stukely Westcott, Vol. 1, Pg. 181, 1932)
