    They landed in Philadelphia 4 Nov 1804 aboard the 'Fortune' from Emden, north Germany. They moved to Conewago Twp., Adams Co., PA, then to Mt. Pleasant Twp., to west Maryland and finally Hopewell Twp., Perry Co., OH after about 1813. (Snyder Newsletter, Jan. 1982)
