- At a Court held at Clarksburg, September 1786, Wm. Wilson, Cornelius Westfall, Andrew Skidmore and Nicholas Petro were ordered to view a road from Tygarts Valley road by way of Mud Lick to Cheat River at Phillip Menear's in Horse Shoe Settlement.
