YARD WORKMAN MEETS DEATH
M.J. McCalmont, aged 51, of Baden, employed as a foreman in the Conway yards, was instantly killed when caught between cars while making a coupling in the yards about 9:30 o’clock Sunday morning. The body was removed to the Hartzel Bro.’s morgue at Freedom and was viewed by Coroner J.M. Jackson. McCalmont was formerly of State Collage, Pa. He later resided in Rochester, from which place he moved to Baden. He leaves a widow and six children. Funeral services were conducted at the family residence this afternoon at 4 o’clock. Burial was in Rehoboth cemetery, New Swickley township.
