Obituary


Mrs. Nellie Green, wife of Dr. A.B. Green, died Thursday morning at her home in Layton Corners. She is survived by her husband; a son, Albert C. Green, of Grand Haven; a daughter, Mrs. Helen Driver, of Lansing; and two sisters, Sylvia Brown of Stockbridge and Mrs. Minnie Fitch of Pontiac. Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at the home with interment at Stockbridge.

[A member of Pleasant Lake Lodge No. 157 - Order of the Eastern Star, Henrietta, MI 8-10-1939. Life membership. Member of the Past Matrons Club, Pleasant Lake Chapter O.E.S. Clergy at the funeral were Reverend Harper, St. Paul's Episcopal Church and Rev. Scarlett, Christ Church, and Rev. Ramsey, retired.]

Green, Nellie Willmore

Nellie Willmore Green, daughter of J. C. and Eliza Willmore, was born April 22, 1874 in Stockbridge Township and died at her home in Henrietta May 27, after a long illness.

Dec. 1, 1897, she was united in marriage to Dr. A. B. Green.

She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and a Past Matron of this Chapter.

She is survived by her husband, daughter, Helen Driver of Lansing, son, Albert C. Green of Grand Haven, four grandchildren, two sisters, Mrs. B. W. Fitch of Pontiac and Mrs. A. W. Brown of Stockbridge, also nieces, nephews and cousins, a great many friends.
