Mrs. C.B. Canon Dies At Hewitt, Minn.

Former Truman Resident Passes Away At Hewitt Hospital of Heart Failure

Clarence Canon last Tuesday received the sad news from Hewitt, Minn. thathis mother, Mrs. C.B. Canon had passed away following a short illness.Heart disease was the cause of her death.

The Canon family formerly lived east of Truman, where Mr. Canon waspastor of the Basey and Westford United Brethren churches. The familyleft here some years ago and since have been living at Browerville,Minn., where Mr. Canon has been pastor of a church.

Funeral services were conducted at Hewitt Friday and then the remainswere taken to Armstrong, Ia., for burial.

Mrs. Canon is survived by her husband and three sons, Clarence of Truman,Leslie and Mervin at home and daughter living at Hewitt. Truman friendsof the family will extend their sympathy.
