    "2. Nehemiah2 Allen (Samuel1), born about 1634, died at Northampton, Mass., 27 June 1684; … Administration on the estate of Nehemiah Alline of Northampton was granted, 30 Sept. 1684, to his widow, Sarah, with Deacon Pomeroy. The Court settled that the eldest son's portion is to be £100, the second son's, £50, the two daughters to have £40 apiece. To the widow, the remainder of the estate, being about £100. Deacon 'Pumry' and Jonathan Hunt to set out said portions. The children being under age, in case any of the children died before coming of age, the survivors to enjoy their portions."
