This info on Nathaniel's parents is from Pack He was a soldier in King Phillips War The only child of his parents who survived into adulthood. Also his birth betrayed the fact that Stephen Wing and Oseath Killingham had recklessly enjoyed each other before marriage Source; Batchelder, Batcheller Genealogy, page 90 His mother died when he was 8 or 9. His boyhood days in Sandwich were frought with the excitement attending the persecutions of his father and Uncle Daniel and others in the neighborhood as Quakers. Her was brought up in an atmosphere which inflicted a penalty for entertaining a Quaker, for speaking with a Quaker or for being present at an assemblage of Quakers. His marriage to Sarah Hatch doubtless induced him to adventure this settlement (Falmouth) at a distance from the neighborhood of his relatives. He seems to have married "out of meeting" as well.
