Nathaniel Wilkinson, s/o George & Margaret WILKINSON, was a scoin of New Kent Co WILKINSON's who migrated to VA. He married Elizabeth WILLSON Jan 1758 Amelia Co, VA. 21 Feb 1760 Daniel WILLSON and Nathaniel & Elizabeth WILKINSON sold 150ac in Amelia Co to Thomas DYER. About 1780 Nathaniel bought property in Henrico Co, VA & on 10 Apr 1786 sold 11 slaves to Tom Branch WILLSON.
Nathaniel & Elizabeth' s children were:

  • Vol. 1 - COUNTY COURT. ORIGINAL PETITIONS AND ORDERS. - Bundle marked "Old papers not belonging to the office--Old patents, deeds, etc." - 24th September, 1793.--Between Nathaniel Wilkinson, John Carter Littlepage and John Oliver, of first part, and John Hanger, of second part. Parties of first have sold to second (consideration, £10) one ticket, No. 52, for a lot of half an acre in the town of Hot Bath, established by an Act of Assembly at the Hot Springs, in Bath County. Drawing took place, 14th July, last, and John Hanger drew lot 38. Test: James William Mathews, Charles Tyler, Elijah Tenny, Benjamin Dickenson, Simon Gillespey.
  • 1795 Sept. 4 - John Oliver, Nathaniel WILKINSON, & John Carter LITTLEPAGE sell to Charles SCOTT ticket #45 for a lott of 1/2 A in town of hott Bath (Ref: Bath co., VA Deed. Bk. 1 p.239)

In 1791, Cuthbert Bullitt, who was at the time a resident of Prince William County, died. By his will be disposed of a large landed estate, some of which was in Kentucky. He, or his executors, conveyed the Hot Springs to Nathaniel Wilkinson, or Henrico County, who very soon associated with him in the ownership of John Oliver, John Carter Littlepage, Miles King and Benjamin Thompson.
