Nathaniel Taylor (5) a half-brother of Andrew and Isaac Taylor and son by the second marriage of Andrew Taylor the first, died in Carter County Tennessee in 1816. His wife was Mary Patton, of Rockbridge County, Virginia, according to the family understanding. This list of his children is probably correct, though we did not take it from the will:

1. James Patton Taylor married Mary Carter, daughter of Landon Carter.
2. Anna Taylor m. Col. Thomas Love.
3. Alfred Wilson Taylor (1799-1856) married Elizabeth Carter Duffield.
4. Elizabeth Taylor m. Thos. Taylor.
5. Lorena Taylor m. Jacob Tipton.
