Joshua2 and Elizabeth (Rose) Robbins."
He was a deacon of the First Church, Glastonbury. In May 1728, he was chosen Lieutenant of the Glastonbury company, and May 1738, he was confirmed Captain of the 1st company in that town. He was Deputy for Glastonbury, May 1735.
The will of Capt. Nathaniel Talcott of Glastonbury, dated 21 Jan. 1758, proved 27 Feb. 1758, gave to his wife, Elizabeth, one-third of movables; to five daughters, Elisabeth, Rachel, Mary, Comfort, and Abigail, the rest of movables; to eldest son, Joshua, my walking cane and sword, and farm in Bolton; to son, Nathaniel, half of farm in Glastonbury south of the Farr Hills, about 300 acres; to son, Joseph, the other half; sons, Nathaniel and Joseph, executors. Witnesses: Thomas Welles, Hannah Fox (her mark), Thankful Brewer (her mark)."
