Two contemporary sources: the birth record transcribed in NYGBR and the marriage record cited on the family page, give his name as Nathan. According to the abstract of his father's will given in Source:Field, Warren James. Some Field Family Journeys: Selected Descendants of Reger Del Feld, the will apparently calls him Nathaniel.
