Married (1) after June 1659, Sarah Ward, dau. of Andrew. The will of Hester Ward, 1665, gave legacies to her grandchildren Sarah and Nathaniel, children of her dau. Sarah Burr. Married (2) Hannah, widow of Samuel Wakeman, dau. of Dep.-Gov. Stephen Goodyear. Died at Fairfield 26 Feb. 1712. Will 22 Nov. 1711; wife Ann; sons John and Daniel; four children of dec'd son Nathaniel; daus. Abigail wife of John Wheeler, Esther wife of John Sloss, Ann wife of Gideon Allen, Rebecca wife of Capt. Nathaniel, wh. had left four ch. and John, Daniel, Esther, Ann Allen, Rebecca Sherwood, and Mary Labarre."
