Whereas, on 13th Januay, 1741 (1742), was granted to Henry Dowly, of Orange County, 236 acres in Augusta, part of which Henry conveyed to Nathan Underwood by deed recorded in Orange; £18; part of the tract on South River of Shanando, 100 acres. Witnesses, Robert Turk, George Anderson, Eastham Franklyn. Proved, 10th February, 1745-6, by all the witnesses.
